OwnedCore Data Breach (2013)

OwnedCore, a well-known World of Warcraft exploits forum, encountered a significant security breach around August 2013, resulting in the exposure of over 880,000 accounts. The platform, powered by vBulletin, contained IP addresses and passwords that were stored as salted hashes. However, due to a weak implementation, many passwords were quickly decrypted.
