JD Data Breach (2012)

Several stores under the JD Group umbrella, including Bradlows, Everyshop, HiFi Corp, and others, have experienced a data breach. While no financial data was compromised, the breach exposed ID numbers, names, and contact numbers of over half a million customers. The breach was identified when a user on a hacking forum claimed access to the records of 500,000 JD Group customers and 67,000 Everyshop customers.
