GiveSendGo Data Breach (2022)

"The Christian crowdfunding platform, GiveSendGo, experienced a data breach in early 2022 that affected a significant portion of its users. A focal point of this breach was the exposure of personal details belonging to approximately 90,000 donors who contributed to the Canadian ""Freedom Convoy"" campaign, which was set up in protest against vaccine mandates. Exposed data from the breach included names, email addresses, post codes, the specific amount donated, as well as any comments or messages left by donors during their donation process."
