DaFont.com, a leading font sharing platform, suffered a data breach in the earlier part of 2017 that compromised its entire user database, impacting 699,464 user accounts. Exposed details included usernames, email addresses, and hashed passwords, which were encoded using the now-vulnerable MD5 algorithm, enabling the anonymous hacker to decrypt over 98% of them.
