boAt Data Breach (2024)

The boAt data breach incident, disclosed on 5-April-2024 by a hacker known as ShopifyGUY on a forum, has resulted in the leak of personal data for over 7.5 million boAt customers. This compromised data, amounting to around 2GB and spanning 7.5 milion entries, encompasses a wide range of personally identifiable information (PII), such as names, addresses, contact numbers, email IDs, customer IDs, and more.
