Tots and Teens Pediatric Medicine Data Breach (2019)

A pediatric facility sent a letter to parents of patients saying they had a data breach in August. Tots and Teens Pediatric Medicine sent a notification letter to patients in November. The pediatric facility has offices in Corpus Christi and Robstown. The letter said names, addresses, dates of birth and social security numbers may have been compromised. "On August 24, 2019, it was discovered that an unidentified individual hacked into our company server," the letter reads. "After the discovery, the server was immediately shutdown and proper security steps were taken by out IT department."
