State of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity Data Breach (2013)

There is another problem with the Department of Economic Opportunity's expensive computer system that is affecting people getting their unemployment benefits. The latest glitch has the department sending out a letter to businesses explaining that it mistakenly released "social security numbers" of people registered in the unemployment system along with other private information to them.
