Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Data Breach (2013)

EVERY single person that lives in the Royal Borough should be worried after council security breaches were revealed, a security specialist has warned. The loss of 388 council laptops, potentially containing council taxpayers confidential information, was also revealed by The Observer, and was described as 'not a major security breach by Cllr Duncan McBride, chairman of the audit and performance review panel.
