Peoples Bank of Commerce Data Breach (2013)

On February 2, 2013, a backup tape containing customer information was stolen from a secured vehicle in Roseville, MN belonging to a Peoples Bank of Commerce employee. The investigation revealed that the stolen backup tape contained customer names, addresses, SSNs, account numbers and balances. The tape was password protected.
