Mount Diablo Unified School District Data Breach (2012)

The Mount Diablo Unified School District sent letters out to its current and former employees on Friday December 21, 2012 notifying them that one of their offices had been burglarized on Saturday, December 1, 2012, and a password -protected, unencrypted computer was stolen, according to the source who told Claycord.com about the letter. According to the anonymous Claycordian who sent us the information, the stolen computer contained Excel and Word files that included employee names, SSNs, dates of birth and addresses for employees and former employees who worked at the district between 1998 and 2010.
