MBNA Data Breach (2010)

A laptop containing personal details of thousands of MBNA credit card customers has been stolen from the offices of NCO Europe. Data lost includes personal details. MBNA has confirmed that customer information was ‘compromised’. An MBNA spokesperson has explained that none of the details had yet been used fraudulently, but the company was monitoring every affected card.
