The prominent Chinese e-commerce platform, JD, faced a significant data breach in 2013, the exact timing of which remains uncertain. The breach exposed a staggering 13GB of data, impacting 77 million users by revealing their unique email addresses. Additionally, other compromised details included usernames, phone numbers, and passwords, which were stored using SHA-1 hashing.
