InterContinental Hotels Group PLC Data Breach (2013)

On July 4, 2013 the InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco was burglarized. Thieves removed a hard drive from a office computer, and even though they left it behind, information contained may have been accessed. The hard drive contained guests names, address, e-mail address and credit/debit card numbers. Affected customers and credit card companies have been notified. No credit monitoring service is being provided.
