E.J. Phair's Brewing Company Data Breach (2012)

An East Bay pub says computer hackers stole the credit card information of dozens of customers recently and there may be more who were affected. Every time a business swipes a credit card, that information is collected by a third party, so the business can get paid. But in this case, E.J. Phair suspects hackers used a computer virus or worm to access that sensitive information without ever stepping foot inside the business.
