Butera's Restaurant Data Breach (2013)

A Long Island couple are facing criminal charges early Sunday after they allegedly stole a womans credit card information and then bought more than $1,000 in fast food, Nassau County police said. Detectives said Heanue was working as a hostess at Buteras Restaurant located at 3900 Sunrise Highway in Seaford, when she allegedly fraudulently obtained the credit card information of a 32-year-old woman. According to police, Heanue shared the stolen credit card number with Ferrito and the two placed 26 fast food orders from June 26 to Sept. 14. The two reportedly racked up bills totaling $1,068.88 during their greasy binge.
